A steady voter turnout is reported at polling stations across the city and county this evening. In Galway City East, the average turnout is now at 32% in Ballybane Community Centre station. In Galway City Central, turnout is around 21% at the polling station in Westside Community Centre. This is largely mirrored in polling stations in Galway City East. To the county and in Tuam, voter turnout now stands at 30%. To Ballinasloe and Loughrea now and 30% of voters have turned up at many stations. In Connemara, voters in Clifden continue to lead the way in turnout. The turnout now stands at over 30%.
