A storm hits you, knocks you down...you can hardly breath... Its treacherous. Have you ever found yourself in that place? Have you ever found yourself stuck in one of lifes storms, and no matter how hard you try, no matter what you do, it seems that you cannot make headway? I know I have! Many, many times. We all will have times like that. It may seem to you like the storm you are in at the moment will never end and that there is no possible good that can come from what you are facing. Thankfully however, there is some good news. While the storms of life are never pleasant, they do produce certain blessings in our lives. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.: Heb 12:11. Dear friends, the storms of life contain some hidden blessings for the children of God. I do not know what kind of storm you are facing at this time in your life, but I do know that the Lord has a purpose in allowing that storm to rage in your life. Perhaps that purpose will become clear tomorrow or you may have to walk through some thunderous times, but I will assure you, if you keep on, the storm will revel the blessing in time.
