A story from someone amazing like to share this because there is hope life is not over it is a battle each and everyday but never give up!! Cancer came into my family August 29, 2007 at 8 30 AM. It sounds strange to say this, but it many ways cancer has blessed my life. I never wanted to have one of my children hurt in any way, let alone a cancer diagnosis but it happened. Through the last 6 years I have seen so many acts of kindness and grace from survivors, fighters, thrivers, caregivers, friends and so on. Some relationships grew stronger and some just went away. Cancer is a terrible disease, but it comes with rays of sunshine too. One of those rays is Lauren Rains of Outdoor Minded Magazine. When she learned what we do she offered to help. Tomorrow kicks off a 10 day challenge with 25 incredible people across the world raising funds and friends for Epic Experience. The Challenge has not even started and yet over $4500 has already been raised. So thank you Lauren and everyone else that has stepped forward to run, climb, swim, bike, donate and beyond. Lauren is an example of what one person can do!!! Here is to the Challenge!!!
