A story is told of a king in the days of old when battle broke out in the English kingdom and the prince called Arthur was captured by a powerful king. The only way to get him released will be to answer a question which has bothered the king for years. Arthur was tasked to answer the question or he will die. The question was: What does a woman really want or what women want (www)? Arthur was allowed to go in search of the answer and return back in 3 days or he face death. Alongside his best friend, they set out on the journey. After fruitless efforts, they decided to approach an old witch who was well known for having answers to all the world questions. She agreed to give the answer but on the condition that Arthur would marry her, since he was still single. A man who wants to live has no choice and he agreed. He went to the king and gave the answer and was subsequently released. A day was fixed for the grand wedding between the prince and the old ugly witch. On that day, she put on her worst behaviors, eating with her hands and looking very disgusting that the whole guests were embarrassed. They retired to their room after the wedding. The old hag went in first and switched off the light. When Arthur came in, he switched on the light and to his surprise, he beheld the most beautiful woman he has ever met in life. While still in shock, the woman changed back to the woman she was earlier; the world most ugly creature. She gave Arthur a choice to make: One was to chose her being beautiful at night for her to be ravaged while ugly in the day to move around with, or ugly at night and beautiful in the day. Arthur thought for long and then he replied exactly what the woman told her on what a woman really want. And then he answer I want you to be what you always wanted to be and have a mind of your own. The woman smile and said, for making me become the independent woman I want to be and not telling me what to become, I will remain ever beautiful for you day and night and thus she was, the most beautiful woman in those days. Friends, that is it. A woman wants to be herself and not a tool for any man to control. We sometimes forget that just like us, they have a mind of their own, but the manliness in us makes us think they dont have the brains to decide. No they do, and it is only when we give them their God given right to chose whom they want to be that we get the best from them. When they ask us for help, all they actually need is our suggestion and not a self imposed answer. Reflect on this...
