A story was once told of an African farmer who found an eagles egg on his farm. The farmer took the egg, and placed it under one of his hens that was incubating her own eggs. After a period of time, the hen hatched her eggs including the eagles egg. The young eaglet began to live with the young chicks, eating and drinking with them. One particular day, an eagle was flying, and she spotted the eaglet on the ground with the chicks. So she called out to the eaglet, but the eaglet just looked up and down again and continued with the chicks. The next day, the eagle came calling again, this time around the young eaglet tried flying but she fell, because she had never tried flying before. The next day again the eagle came calling, the eaglet looked around and she noticed she was different from the chicks. She flapped her wings and up she flew to meet the eagle. The chicks called her back with their little cry, but up she went never to come back. Just like the young eaglet you might have been born among mediorces and people who love to be average. Your background might be the true definition of poverty, hatred, failure, disease, rejection, divorce, addiction, rape etc. Despite all that, you dont have to stay down. Just like that eagle, am also calling out to you to come up, dream again, fight the addiction, try the exam again, you shouldnt remain down, you dont belong there. Rising up to greatness might be difficult at first, just like the eaglet you might fall. But dont you remain down because you tried rising up and you fell. God has purposed something far greater than you can imagine for you. Dont let your past, relations, friends, fears and back ground, limit you.
