A strong, stiff, sharp wind was blowing across the marsh meadows - TopicsExpress

A strong, stiff, sharp wind was blowing across the marsh meadows at the Limberlost Marsh today, so I decided to go walk in the Rainbow Bottom instead. I knew that the woods along the Wabash River there would block much of the wind and make it a more tolerable environment for walking in the 45 degree temperatures. And...as the Lob....it was TOTALLY QUIET. Words cant express how much the daily walk has enchanted my heart with little treasures, such as this frog that was hopping at my feet, cute yellow flower, bright leaves and nice reflection on the Wabash River. More than that, like the song, Precious Memories says, In the stillness of the midnight, precious, sacred scenes unfold. Today I received very distinct wisdom that led to a very concerning answer to prayer, more wisdom for my sermon for tomorrow and a peaceful quieting of my soul...in the stillness of nature. I am doing all I can these days to train my body to be able to continue to walk in at least the more moderate cold....I need it...I need to listen...I need what God has for me...and how precious that He is there irregardless of climate, weather or how challenging my walls may be to Him. There remains then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. Hebrews 4:9
