A sum up of my Christian beliefs #unedited mrhabulo# The death of Jesus Christ and his ressurection was an important aspect of history. According to the bible sin came through one man who is Adam and mankind was bound by that. Now before Adam transgressed, he did not call a referrendum where all mankind signed their names on the register and were bound by the resolutions. No! It was his voluntary act. Now equally Jesus Christ being referred to as the second Adam, he came to turn this situation around and thus all mankind was bound by that act. This therefore means that Jesus didnt die for Christians, Jesus Christ died and rose again for everyone to be saved. 1 Cor 15:22 says For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. It would be illogical that if Adam through his voluntary act all shall be affected. But when it comes to Jesus, a select few shall be affected. Its an illogical conclusion. Hence I would say that all therefore became saved through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Did Jesus die for my sins? At the time Jesus died, All of us now were not alive. Now how does one die for sins of people who are not born? How does an unborn sin? This could only mean that he died for sins we were all about to commit. God knew that people are born in a contaminated world which is not of their doing. A child born in a family where the mother and father drinks heavily and is subject to fighting and all sorts of vile as he grows up is likely to adopt that particular culture. His life is likely to take a turn for the worse. And hence the bible says that Jesus died for all. Meaning that every sin one was about to commit, its already covered for. Is this a licence to sin? NO! People are sinning already and they need no licence. What would make people to refute this is because mankind tend to take sins of other people personally. When a person is said to be sinning, people forget that the only judge is God. And therefore everysin committed is subject to God, this is what is called taking law into their own hands. When I get severely drunk and chase women, I aint sinning against any human being, but against God. Hence mna personally I used to say, I will fear no human being in doing wrong, if I still do that wrong with God watching me. If I smoked (just an example) and Rev Tutu approaches, I would not hide my cigarette. (By the way smoking is not sin). Am I saying that no one needs to be a Christian? NO! Even though Christ died for all, there is those who decide to be fundamentalists, meaning that they will live their lives to the letter of every teaching thats in the bible. They are correct also. However let me first state. There is no such thing in the bible as a prayer of salvation. The bible talks about believing in God, Believing in his name, calling on his name. Which are all verbs. An act of believing. Let me also clarify Romans 10:9. If thou shalt confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. It does not say; If you say I confess and I believe. These are acts, things to be done continuously. There is many people that believe in the resurrection, those people are effectively saved. There is many people that continuously claim that Jesus is Lord. The same applies to them, whether they go to church or not. As I said, Jesus died for everyone not only for church goers. It does not mean that its wrong to be a church goer, because thats between one and his relationship with God. What about hell? I personally dont believe in this concept. Especially the spending of forever and ever in hell. How could a God who sees the future allow a human being to arrive on earth knowing full well that this person will spend an eternity in hell. Alive? Eternity in hell I would take it if its taken on the translation that says grave. Which means all factory faults shall be eternally shut down. Like you wont burn nothing, you would just be dead. To me that makes sense. I think its cruel to even think of people tormented forever. Its unlike a loving God. Lastly Its impossible for Christianity to be accepted by everyone. In the deep forests of the Amazon there is tribes there that have never heard of the bible and of Christ. And christian evangelists may never reach there. Are those people therefore eternally damned? NO! They are covered also. There is people that grew under muslim teachings, its an environment they found themselves in, most of those people will never change their views because thats all they know. #to be continued later, kudala ndibhala ngoku.#
