A summary of the day: whale, lots of fog, fog disappating and then plenty of whales! We got some great looks at Comet the Fin whale this morning before we got socked into thick thick fog and were unable to find anything else except a few harbor porpoise. This afternoon we left the harbor in fog and watched the blanket disappear only to end up with 5 Minke whale (including our fin-less Minke!!!) as well as 5 Fin whales (#9709, Dingle and Comet!). Whales and weather, all incredible things and all things we cannot control just try to manage with what we are dealt :)
