A surfer who was bitten by a great white shark off a Central California beach is expected to survive the attack. The unidentified man was in waters off Sand Spit Beach in Montana De Oro State Park Sunday when an 8 to 10-foot-long shark suddenly emerged from the depths and bit his right hip. “It was pretty radical. There was no warning at all,” his friend told a local newspaper. “He was gone for a couple seconds and let him go….
