A suspect in the murder of Bafana Bafana captain and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa has been arrested at the Beitbridge border post that links Limpopo to Zimbabwe, City Press has learnt. Details are sketchy, but police sources involved in the arrest have confirmed it and told City Press that the suspect is being escorted to Polokwane. From there, he will probably be transferred to Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, where Meyiwa was shot dead on Sunday night at his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s home. Police today denied the reports. “The rumours that someone was arrested at Beitbridge are untrue,” Brigadier Neville Malila said. No arrests had been made and no questioning had taken place. “Investigations are continuing,” he said
