In the mid 2000s Sonics tried to get a new arena did get one despite having a Rookie by the name of Kevin Durrant sonics not doing well attendance wise many believe the sonics sabotaged the season for payback of not getting a new arena . In 2008 Sonics moved to of all places Oklahoma a different world then the Pacific Northwest in many aspects . The 3 time SuperBowl Champion Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders are trying to get the city of Oakland to build a new Stadium . I dont see the Bay Area to build a 2nd NFL Stadium after the 49ers got Levi Stadium built in Santa Clara . Today the Raiders lost to their former crosstown rivals St Louis Rams 52-0 to drop to 1-11 going for the number 1 pick in the draft . I wouldnt be surprised if the Raiders relocate to San Antonio to play in the Alamo Dome it would be a fresh start . If its true the Raiders coach Bill Calahan had sabotaged SuperBowl XXXVII as Tim Brown & Jerry Rice believe . That was Karma they got the 1st pick in 07 draft JaMarcus Russell QB one of the all time NFL bust just lasted 3 years made Marc Wilson look like Joe Montana . Sabotaging anything in the world sports compromises the integrity of the sport look at the 1919 Blacksox throwing the World Series .
