A team of 24 people set out for Rudraprayag (August Muni, Chandrapuri, Phalai, Vijaywada, Ganga Nagar, Silli, Chaka, Jawaharnagar and Marghat) with two truckloads of relief material a couple of days ago, to set up a medical and relief camp there. Another team in Hrsikesh is already helping people who reflect the pain of relatives anxiously awaiting family members missing since June 16. With evacuees pouring in at Hrsikesh, many families rush from Dehradun to the bus terminus and railway station hoping to identify their loved ones.
