A teenager will face court next month following investigations into an alleged graffiti offence. About 8.30am today (Friday 7 March 2014), police were called to Broadmeadow Train Station following reports that a group had defaced railway property. Two teenage boys were subsequently arrested and questioned by officers attached to the Police Transport Command. A 19-year-old boy was issued with a future court attendance notice for the offence of damage property with graffiti implement. He will appear in Newcastle Local Court on Tuesday 22 April 2014. The second teen was released pending further inquiries. Investigations into the incident continue and police are reviewing CCTV footage.
