A ten-member board of directors has been constituted by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Life patron of Ghanaian Champions Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, a statement from the office of the Chief of Staff of the Manhyia Palace has confirmed. Asante Kotoko board has three personalities from the immediate past Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong- led administration in the persons of legal practitioners Paul Adu-Gyamfi and Kofi Dua Adonten as well as Ambassador Kabral Blay- Amihere (Chairman, National Media Commission) . Lawyer Adu-Gyamfi, the former President of the Ghana Bar Association has been elevated to Chairman of the new Asante Kotoko board. The new Kotoko board also has former Ghana International Samuel Osei Kuffour, Frank Appiagyei (Veteran Journalist, Businessman), Nana Ekuoba Kwadwo Gyasi (of K. Gyasi Co. Ltd fame), Jude Kofi Arthur (CEO of First Atlantic Bank) and the Ankobeahene of the Asante Kingdom, Nana Kwame Kusi II as members. Two slots have been made available for a representative each from the supporters front, the National Circles Council and Asante Kotoko Old Players Association (AKOPA).
