A thoroughly lovely weekend :) Lots crammed in, including an outing for Little Minx and her Little Sharer, a hay delivery, riding and lunging both days for both LC and Gingernut. Not to mention an afternoon of painting (my other hobby, a few Christmas orders on the go...) and a pre-Christmas lunch at my dads today followed by a jumping lesson with a girl I teach at my yard. Little Minx and Little Sharer are going to a Christmas gymkhana next weekend, so we had a trial first outing to a local arena on Saturday. All went very smoothly with Little Minx her usual unfazed self at a new venue and Little Sharer riding well - big confidence boost all round so well worth doing. After watching Mummy ride the Lovely Coblet (who is coming back into work very sweetly and trying so hard despite feeling quite stiff laterally) Fidget had a great time this morning supervising TNBP unload all the hay and then helping us both with the mucking out! She just loves getting involved. Her latest obsession is picking out feet - my long suffering horses are incredibly tolerant about having their hooves lifted umpteen times as she cries more, more! whilst brandishing a hoof pick!
