A thought I had last night on the pickups was that I might make a second set, a more experimental set... based along the lines of my thoughts on how the field cuts one turn of the coil at the same frequency as the string vibrating and is more accurate sonically to electrically but needing the multiple coils to amplify it, that possibly splitting a coil of say 2000 turns down each end and making it into effect two stacks of 2000 rods, soldered in parellel at each of the 4 stack ends whether that would still work... sort of like 4000 small batteries in parellel... not quite sure on that.. thinks....., Its the potential difference (voltage) that is amplified by in effect putting them in series, so I dont think it would... pity really, oh well, just typing it and thinking it through more slowly.. no, I dont think itd work.. nope, scrap that... though hopefully I will get some output from the system I have made... one method of turning them increases ampage, while another increases potential difference... though equally series causes problems due to resistance... bit of a fkr really. Imagining the rods like batteries... series... higher ampage, lower p.d parellel would be vica versa!? fk its a long time since I did this sh*t in physics... Mind you, it wouldnt surprise me if it went this well because it wont bloody work, thatd be just my luck too... when its right and stands a chance of producing a noise it fks up.. when its wrong and wont produce shit but some form of hum it all goes right... thatd be jussst typical. [vaguely chuckles at that one, possibly just the coffee....] dunno, to be honest just glad its fkn over for now, now, that was getting seriously fkn tedious.
