A thought: Why do educated and well settled urban people need a mining company to sponsor their lunch or dinner? Each single pie spent by polluting mining and industrial companies in sponsoring lunch or dinner for the urban folks, under whatever guise that may be, takes away more than hundred times of what they need to spend in supporting the communities they marginalized through their acts of forceful displacement, destruction of local forests, pollution of the environment and related things. Well such charities by these companies is a need of high order for them, to cover up a lot of wrongs they are doing. Do our illustrious educated and well settled people need their sponsorship for such things? Our schools and colleges have educated us to think beyond the surface. Lets not fail in our duties for the larger society just in the name of organizing an activity...
