A thought for Thursday: “We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.” – Albert Einstein I believe this quote is a spin-off of one of my favorite quotes from Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” We are all victims of this dysfunction on some level. I would never proclaim myself to being a great problem solver, but I believe and practice one key component of the art, by doing my very best not to repeat them and understanding that I must use a different strategy for handling such situations in the future. All problems in our lives, for the most part are a tests and more over “Self” inflicted. Now, the logical approach after “failing” a test is to adapt or learn from the choices we made the last time, understand why they were the wrong choice, train ourselves to see the right path, and take the new direction. However, I guess this is easier said than done since we continue to be repeat offenders against ourselves. Simply put…..Life is filled with either problems or possibilities. BOTTOM LINE…..What you see is what you choose to see. On the surface life can seem tumultuous and perplexing…….BUT deep inside, where you are the “realist” with yourself, life is what you make of it for better or worse, TODAY you are living your choice. All being said, it is my HOPE that you choose to see beyond the problems to the possibilities that await your attention. #ChangeYourResponsesToYourTests With Love -Sirquon
