A thought to take with you to Mass tomorrow: In the Eucharist, the Lord comes to us, wounded and sacrificed. That is the right moment to pray, Jesus, heal these wounds. As soon as you show him your wounds and expose yourself to his healing power, the healing process begins, one that is not like ordinary healing. It is not a question of something old that has caused you much pain and finally ceases to torment you. The healing goes back into time and transforms the very moment when you were hurt into a moment of grace.
