A tip of my hat to dynamic song-and-dance man Jon Peterson, whos currently doing my show George M. Cohan Tonight! up in Rochester. And later this year and next, Jon will be taking the show to Florida once again. Over a decade ago, Jon walked away from a Broadway production contract to begin work--totally on spec--with me, on my Cohan project. He was initially working for free--we all were. Just taking a chance, and seeing where the project might go. George M. Cohan Tonight! clicked Off-Broadway. And then in many cities, in the US and abroad. Im happy that all these years later, Jon is still dazzling audiences in this show. And entertaining new audiences. Break legs, Jon!
