A tireless hard working visiting research professor at UJ and mentoring and teaching Governance, Government Strategy and Government Policies at the Top Nigerian Institute for Policies and Strategic Studies. Opportunity for true change and hope for all in Plateau State can be achieved with Prof Sonni Tyoden. However if we are not ready that true change and hope will simply move on and go somewhere else. But who? Why I believe Prof Sonni Tyoden Stand Head and Shoulder ABOVE all the Other Gubernatorial Candidates Plateau State 2015 = He has the abilities and networks to help Plateau State Attract foreign grants to find solutions to the Millennium Development Goals His active and varied working life experiences, skills, wisdom and understanding of the intricacies of leadership and governance He Introduced Research Policies that led to UJ continue as a beneficiary of grants from Hewlett-Packard, Carnegie Corporation of New York, World Bank Science and Technology for Post-Basic institutions (STEP-B) and the Royal Netherlands Embassy, Abuja. He introduced ICT Policy to seize the opportunity in ICT technology and development. This has led to e-learning initiatives in various disciplines. His Tenure as VC at the prestigious Uni Jos saw great changes like increasing and Doubling the number of Student intake He maintained UJ commitment to engaging communities to promote and contribute to social, cultural and economic progress. effort to eliminate poverty, hunger, disease and ignorance. His career has revolved around youth, he taught them, mentored them, counselled them and guided them to lofty heights - he promised to invest in the Youths bcos he knows they are the future and survival of Plateau State. Other politicians talk Youth Empowerment, Job Creation and Active Participation in politics etc Prof Sonni Tyoden promise he plans to go beyond that to make Plateau State Youths attend GLOBAL Competitiveness and Intellectual Capacity
