A tornadic supercell moves in towards Pinery Provincial Park, in - TopicsExpress

A tornadic supercell moves in towards Pinery Provincial Park, in southwest Ontario, on Lake Huron, around the dinner hour on July 27, 2014. The supercell produced an EF-1 tornado that caused extensive tree (very old oak!!) damage to the north end of the park and moved into the suburbs of Grand Bend. A woman in her 30s was seriously injured in the park when one of the trees fell on her, crushing her spine and pelvis. She will need several surgeries. The surrounding area was without hydro for two days. I was right at the beach when this beast came in, hence I ended up right beside the rain wrapped tornado. You can see a dark area underneath part of the storm in the photo.. a wall cloud was buried in there.
