From here head SW and explore two narrow pagoda studded ridges E and above Scatters Canyon. After that descend into the unnamed canyon to the W and follow it to the Bungleboori. Take the magnificent Hailstorm Retreat to ascend back to the track. About 15km, 300m+&- Rating 6, M, LTW. Gear issues 2 litres of water, GPS, PLB, appropriate head and footwear, electrolytes, maps, compass, tape (leader only). Waterproof your pack. Change of gear for afterwards.
