GPS setting WGS 84. Walk description and route Park the cars at the end of Waratah Ridge Road. Walk on the old fire trail and track to GR 510 019. From here head SW and explore two narrow pagoda studded ridges E and above Scatters Canyon. After that descend into the unnamed canyon to the W and follow it to the Bungleboori. Take the magnificent Hailstorm Retreat to ascend back to the track. About 15km, 300m+&- Rating 6, M, LTW. Gear issues 2 litres of water, GPS, PLB, appropriate head and footwear, electrolytes, maps, compass, tape (leader only). Waterproof your pack. Change of gear for afterwards. Numbers 6 places available Meeting point Pymble 0600, McDonalds Richmond 0640, Clarence 0800, Bungleboori 0815. Transport Club cars. Comments A challenging and wild adventure. Extensive clambering and possible rock hopping. Scrambling, exposure. We may get wet feet and more.
