A trailer valued at about $8,000 recently was stolen from a property in the 1900 block of Old Hwy. M in Barnhart, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports. Between Nov. 3 and Nov. 14, someone entered the property and stole the white, 18-foot Wells Cargo trailer, the report said. A cable was stretched across the entrance to the property to prevent entry, and the cable was stolen, too, according to the report. The trailer had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests as of Nov. 14, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office. He urges anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515. Source: Leader
