A truck has jack-knifed on the N3 North after Van Buuren, closing off four lanes. According to the driver the road was slippery and when he applied brakes he lost control of the truck causing it to spill 700 liters of diesel on the highway. Cars are using emergency lane to get past. The highway was closed to allow A09 to come on coming in order to get to the patients as Van Buuren road was flooded. A09 transported four patients to Roseacres with moderate injuries. Anyone traveling along that route must drive with extreme caution.
