A truly busy but successful day for the GAZA TOY DRIVE. One large van and 30 ft truck load relocated to storage till all is fully prepared for departure for Gaza. A long day and a lot of hard work but lots of laughs along the way. Too many to thank and I am not linked to all so please pass on to your friends as acknowledgement. Thanks to Kay McCabefor the arrival of her boxes from Navan and to Rachel Towey for her boxes from Galway. Thanks to Brenda Carroll and all her friends in Waterford the such incredibly beautifully packed and sealed boxes which arrived last night. Wow what work.....what a busy three days... The man of the day today has to be Jack. Lisa and Paul I am sorry but he is the main man of the Gaza Toy Drive so I hope he can join us tomorrow for the cutting of the cake..... For today thanks David and Eloise, Hesham, Robby, Lisa, Paul, Lisa, Jane, Sandra, Niall, John (for all the driving), Helen, Kate, Stephen, Tim, A few photos here of the day and plans for tomorrow are to be in Airways Industrial Estate for about 2.15/30 for the arrival of the last 1,000 boxes of 3,000 that have all been carefully itemized and packed and will head on their journey from Belfast along with lots of volunteers I believe and we will celebrate with sandwiches etc (nothing stronger I am afraid :( ...) ....so all of you who have supported the Gaza Toy Drive so far, or who are interested to see what we are at, do join us for the final session of 2014... Thanks, Eileen and Ahmed (who is with us from across the waters as he continues to work from there on the other half of the project) ...
