A truly great guy came all the way from Japan to the FIA Formula E Malaysia to meet Mate and have a ride in the Concept_One. His name is Nobuhiro, but most of us know him as Monster Tajima. Famous for his Pikes Peak International Hillclimb records, Tajima San is a true gearhead and car enthusiast. Mate Rimac took him on a hot lap in the Concept_One on the race circuit in Putrajaya. Mr. Tajima expressed his interest in the technology built in the #Croatian car, and was the best possible company to watch the race with. Mr. Tajima show Mate a video of himself when he was only 6 years old - he sad that he wants to be a race-car driver. And really - he has devoted all of his life to racing and raising the bar for sportscars - and now - electric cars. He is pushing the limits like no body else, so Rimac Automobili is an obvious potential partner. Mr. Tajima has experience in racing electric cars. Having successfully completed in the all electric E-RUNNER Pikes Peak Special, with a time of 9:46.530, creating a new record in the Pikes Peak hillclimb electric class. Interesting fact - Mr. Tajima participated at the Pikes Peak the first time the same year when Mate was born. It is great to see two generations so far apart (both geographically and by age) to work together on innovative technologies.
