A two day UGC sponsored National Seminar on the theme Quality enhancement in Higher Education through IQAC has ended to-day with a workshop and interaction session with the participants followed by preparation of a draft of recommendation to the authorities concerned to sustain quality in higher educational institutions of India.Prof.Maly Mohanty, formeer Professor and Head, G.M.(autonomous) college-cum-former controllor of examinations of Utakal University presented the Key Note address in the seminar. Prof.Sanjay Kumar Satapathy and Prof. Kishore Ch. Das of Ravenshaw University conducted the technical session as chairman with rapporteur Mr.Biswa Mohan Jena, Mr.Maly Ranjan Mohapatra (Both from S.B womens college, BBSR), Mr.Bhaskar Nath Biswal of Nowrangapur College and Mr.Ajit Kumar Sabat of Ravenshaw University. The Seminar was formally inaugurated by Executive Director of NALCO, Damanjodi Er.Raj Kisore Mishra in the presence of Shri Krushna Singh, and Regional Director of Higher Education, Berhampur. A seminar proceeding on the theme has also been released during inaugural function. Delegates from Ganjam, Malkangiri, Nowrangapur, Rayagada, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Larambha have participated in the technical session and 27 papers were presented by them of quality enhancement in Higher education.
