A variation on Kenny MacAskills shot of Tarbert Pier area. This building, at the top of the pier brae, was Mairi Floras shop in most of my youth. However, it was also the place where Morag MacInnes, whose father and mother we from Scarp, was born. the family left here to go to Foyers, where he worked in the aluminium industry and Morag went on to have a distinguished teaching caree in Invernessr. She left us a great store of picture which will form the basis of a talk Im giving in March in Inverness and also in the book on Scarp.
