A very Happy Thanksgiving to friends and family. How blessed I am. In the midst of what seems like pain and more frustration, I am reminded where I stand. Ive no room to complain when other close friends and family struggle with issues far worse than mine, whom I pray for healing because to many I can so relate. Im blessed, I have a beautiful wife who is my support, my best friend, and I couldnt be more in love with her and I see others who have gone thru similar struggles or are going thru and I pray for them. When Christ is at the center of your marriage, its so much easier than fighting or worse. Im blessed, I have prayers answered by now having over a year of reinstated communication with my daughters. I was also blessed to meet my first and only grandchild this year who I discover is a killer fisherman/woman? Kid. Im blessed, I am pursuing my hobby, more as a kind of career. Not as a pro fisherman, but as one who loves and wants to share this wonderful sport and especially in this beautiful state. Im blessed because my lifelong friend is with me in our new endeavor to benefit three charities. Im blessed because I get to share life events, pictures and prayer requests. I get to share with praise reports. Im blessed because God Loves me. Im blessed because he paid a debt I didnt know I owed, and couldnt afford to pay. Im blessed because I only have to believe Jesus died for the debt I owed and I am free from all obligation. My obligation turns to the One whom I owe all. Im blessed because I am able to share openly and freely to others about what we should be truly thankful for, eternity, life in Christ. I have no room to complain, Im so blessed. May you be able to count blessings and complain just a little less. People all around you are hurting, hungry, lonely, and are where you may have once been. Take a minute to pray for them, take 2 minutes and pray with them, take 3, learn their name and maybe what they need, take 4 minutes and change another life, Take 5 minutes and you change your life.
