A very big Thank You from the bottom of my heart to each and every one who sent so many good wishes my way for my Birthday (on both days :P ) it feels great to be remembered and to see so many people take out time to drop in a wish. :) Just wanted to say this before anything else - at any point in time, there is both joy and celebration at places in this whole wide world, while sadness and despair prevails in other places. Life and Death - both play their role - at different times for the same people, or at the same time for different people. That is life. However, this year, at this time, there seems to be more than a balanced share of grief. The Israel-Palestine War, the Malaysian Airlines flight... the list goes on. So I could not quite bring myself to pretending like the world begins and ends with me and my Happiness. I just felt a compulsion, as a human being, to at least ADDRESS in some way, the fact that there is so much grief out there in the world and pray that Peace replaces War and that no more homes are destroyed by missiles. I humble request all of you to take a moment and do the same, just as you all have sent so many positive energy and good wishes my way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On a personal, happier note - I have finally gotten to being able to personally thank some of the wonderful people who wished me and I apologize for the belatedness of the same :P . I suppose IF youre able to sit on Facebook with time on your hands on your Birthday, your FRIENDS and their celebration-skills can be called into question and that certainly is not the case with me. Shreya Kuhoo Singh... Thank you for making my day so awesome and for the bestest everest day.. as always, you manage to make days that I feel are going to be normal (is normal) turn out to be special :) (^.^) Ritwika THANK YOU so much for the cake..!! I think its the first time anyone has taken out the time to BAKE my Birthday cake specially and it was really AWESOME.. the best present :) Amrisha, Sonal (and of course the other ^two^) - I think I still have some water in my ear :P that was a crazy, memorable time .. and definitely ensured that this Bday will never be forgotten. :) and thanks for the flowers too :D Kiran baba, you gave me a true Birthday surprise .. thanks ;) Amma ( Helen Verma) and Papa, thank you, as always, for the wonderful card, the wishes.. and.. well, Everything. :) ---------------------------------------- Now Facebook has run out of People I can Tag, I think... and THAT is another sign of how blessed I am with the best friends and family that one can have, that I have SO many people to thank. :P Cheers and Take Care, people :)
