A very big, hearty THANK YOU to all our friends who took part in the Camping Reservation Auction! An extra special thank you to Juliet Agliotti Fourie for the wonderful gesture of donating the camping reservation for this auction. Juliet, your generosity make me believe in human-kind – thank you so much! Here are some figures: The highest bid was made by Tilla Lotter, to a staggering amount of R8250.00! Thank you, Tilla, this is very generous! :) Further pledges to the value of R3620.00 was made by these friends: Maggel Webster, Henk N Shaz Teunissen, Daniel Mc William, Mo McCann, Gaynor Watson Donovan, Mohammed Jinnah, Rob Bowie, Michele Nel, Erika Gerber Halter, myself and Nerina Kruger Jordaan. Thank you, everybody, we are going to see many happy faces (of people AND animals!) in Kgalagadi ! All our friends who pledged money will receive, as promised, a complimentary Kgalagadi Sightings sticker or magnet. I will send the SANParks Honorary Rangers bank detail together with the correct payment process to each contributor and I will put Tilla and Juliet in touch with each other for final arrangements to receive the reservations. Although the official aucton is over, more pledges are welcome, we will gladly add your contributions to the total and in the process create even more happy faces! :)
