A very busy, exciting and productive first day of the Calgary Stampede for our Mazatlan, Sinaloa contingent. Starting with Our Mazatlan Float winning 1st prize for BEST CULTURAL ENTRY in the Calgary Stampede Parade, flanked by Governor Malova and Secretary Cordova on horse back. and early this evening the Mazatlan group attended the Stampede Presidents Gala, where they met and chatted with The Prime Minister of Canada,Stephan Harper and Albertas Premier Dave Hancock among many other dignitaries. ( Pictures to follow soon ) and then tonight off to the Stampede grounds to take in The Chuck Wagon Races and the Grandstand Show....Tomorrow is Our Big Mazatlan Stampede Fiesta event, where we will promote Mazatlan to travel agents, tour operators, and airline reps. The Mayor of Calgary, Naheed Nenshi and the President of the Calgary Stampede Board, Bob Thompson will be attending and will be doing the White Hat Ceremony, to Governor Malova, Tourism Secretary Cordova, and Mazatlans Mayor Felton. The Tourism Board of Sinaloa is doing a great job to get Mazatlan Back where it belongs as one of the worlds best Sunshine tourist destinations. I am SO VERY proud of my Team at Brenster Productions both in Mazatlan and My Amazing staff here in Alberta that have worked so hard to make this all happen and organize all these events for our delegates from Mexico. There are many people to Thank, but a Very special thanks to My personal manager Rafa Tostado, Jody Sanderson, and especially the tireless work of Donna Galvin, who has made us all look Good. I so appreciate everyones efforts to make this trip the success it has become..Muchas Gracias to all..... Brenster.
