A very close friend of mine brought this to my attention many years ago and I will never forget it. We are all BORN into a FAMILY that was planned before our life on this planet. The reasons are beyond our comprehension. However, we are also destined to meet people who BECOME our family during our time here on earth. Dont ever second guess your closeness with people. Some people are very close to their biological family and others are very distant. Dont fret it. Others are very close to their earth family/friends and not their biological family. Our families change and its all good. Its ok to consider non-biological people your family over your biological family. There are no rules except these; Love everyone no matter their differences. Dont judge anyone because you wouldnt and dont like to be judged either. We are all different, embrace that. Its ok to not like your family members - get over it and move on. Dont dwell on it or complain about it. If your family members dont like you, that isnt about you, its about them, say a prayer, move on and get over it. Life is too short to dwell on self pity, drama or complaining. Families can be strange. People can be strange. Life can be strange. Just accept it, dont dwell on it. If people are rude, abusive, uninformative, etc. Just say a prayer for them and move on. Its not about you, its about them dealing with their own self doubts. Dont make those your own emotional demons. Make sense? I sure hope so, because I know all of us deal with this. One last bit of advice; dont regret anything. Do what you want, be honest, loving and happy. Try never to hurt anyone, but dont hurt yourself in trying to please others. Be YOUR best and disregard what others may say or do. You ARE the light of GOD and if you live and breathe that, that is what matters. Embrace life, Enjoy life, be GOOD to others, be Thankful for everything you have every day; Taste, touch, hearing, sight, smell, movement, electricity, plumbing, heat, a home, clothing, food, sunrise, sunset, you name it. Dont take anything for granted. For those that pass you and bring you down? Just pray for them - they have not seen the light that you have. Shine above them and be the AMAZING person God created you to be.
