A very concerning response from Joanne Duncan (M.P Member for Macedon). Are there any paramedics out there who can explain how MICA paramedics on the Calder work? Thank you Thank you for your letter. I am not seeking re-election at the November State election, but I am deeply concerned about the increasing response times in my electorate. There have been a number of examples in recent times many of which have been raised in Parliament by the Opposition during question time. A reading of Hansard will give you an indication of the sort of non responses we were given. I am also very concerned about the loss of MICA paramedics along the Calder Hwy, we use to have 9 we are now down to 3 and soon to be down to 2. You would probably be aware of the skills of MICA paramedics and the increased survival rates when they are in attendance.
