A very cool Tiki Oasis 14 thing happened to me on Saturday - I was on my way out of the desert (where I live part time) to get to Burbank (where I live the rest of the time) and play an Unclaimed show. There is an estate sale shop fairly close to the edge of Yucca Valley... they usually have crappy records but I decided to stop and look through anyway - yep, more crappy records... the woman points to a box across the room and says theres more vintage records over there so I look and behind the Tom Jones and Hollyridge Strings LPs was a small goldmine including a nice clean copy of the Wild Angles soundtrack featuring Tiki Oasis 14 performer Davie Allan and The Arrows, a copy of the Fireballs LP with the final track from my Saturday DJ set (I didnt have the LP) and the jackpot -- a MONO (first pressing) copy of Loves first album, autographed by the entire band on both the cover, and label! Plus even more cool non-Tiki Oasis 14 surprises....
