A very difficult day for us. Stiller had emergency surgery today to remove a 2-inch tumor in his spleen. He is in recovery and we will know if it is malignant next week. Our vet says he likely would not have made it through the weekend, since he was beginning to bleed internally. I took this picture before he went into surgery not knowing if I would see him alive again. His little buddy Violet was by his side...Many tears shed today but we are grateful for a few lucky breaks that led to getting us this far. Please keep us in your prayers that the tumor is benign!
