A very fruitful & meaningful discussion with Prof Leonard Y. Andaya about an hour. He taught me a lot on how to establish worldview & interprets things in a different angle from other people always see. Also gave a friendly reminder to always aware of the priority & the validity of any issues that we want to discuss. Even there is an issue, that’s doesn’t mean that we can easily take it as the topic of our discussion. The validity of issue, for instance, is very significant in order to differentiate between the real issue or its just not more than propaganda & sometimes merely a trifle thing (and so in our lives). His knowledge is really vast as every single thing I mentioned he may directly gave his own point of view even not so particular, but it is good on how to understand things in a big picture. He is just so friendly & sometimes looks so “Melayu” :) **Learning will never have full stops as we know nothing than we claimed we know.
