A very good friend of mine recently brought this story to my attention and totally bought into the pretext suggested by the title, that the anti-government rhetoric of the person arrested was anti-Obama. If you watch the YouTube video of the attorney from the Rutherford Institute being interviewed on Fox, it is easy to understand how anyone predisposed to believe every anti-Obama claim that crosses his or her desktop would come away with that false belief. commonsenseconspiracy/2014/06/veteran-marine-arrested-for-disagreeing-with-president-obama-on-facebook/ businessinsider/former-marine-brandon-raub-is-being-held-in-a-psychiatric-ward-over-facebook-posts-about-911-2012-8 However, if you do a little research and check a few less biased sources than the Fox Republican Mouthpiece, you will fairly quickly discover that Brandon Raub is railing against the overly-intimate relationship between Big Business and government, an issue on which Raub and I completely agree. Moreover, nowhere is this intimate relationship more apparent than in the Red States and the Republican House of Representatives. Dont jump to the conclusion that I think all Dems are good and all Cons are bad. One of the reasons we did not get the health care reform that many of us wanted and worked hard to get is because the chairman of the Senate Finance committee that rejected out-of-gate the single payer option was a Democrat, Max Baucus who was the largest recipient in Congress of campaign contributions from the insurance industry at that time. Having said that, while I can think of many Dems who hardly represent the political philosophy the party stands for, I can think of NO Cons - ZERO - who represent the interests of the majority who are hard working Americans struggling to maintain middle class status. I dont know where Raub stands on Obama, but I DO know that the story-line presented in this YouTube misrepresents what I have read about his detention for mental evaluation.
