A very interesting info .... Lieutenant WALTER KUBISCH (7 September 1918-6 October 1944), radio-gunner Lieutenant Colonel Helmut Lent. He was one of the few radio gunners, belonging to night hunting, which were granted the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross and also one of the few who, proceeding from the rank and file, became official. WALTER KUBISCH always flew with LENT, participating in 80 of his victories and folding down himself, on the night of July 28, 1943, one LANCASTER cuatrimotor. Dead with LENT in accident. You liked?
