A very long day it was. I got on the computer, early this morning, to fill out the disability application for Laura. After 30 minutes the computer decided to crash. After a few loud, choice words that only the cat could hear, I rebooted and started again. Four hours later, I decided to quit for the day. I figured that I was probably almost done after two hours but then they asked about all the doctors involved, all the procedures and prescribed medications. I completed the info on four of the doctors. Ill probably resume tomorrow. Ive procrastinated too long. After forcing myself to eat something, I headed to Griffin to see the first rehab facility on my list. I was able to see one more before I realized it was 7:00 and needed to get to the hospital. I saw Laura at 7:30 and left at 9:00. She was doing well and extremely fascinated with the TV remote. I wasnt very impressed with the selection of rehab facilities or with the ones I saw today. The one in Decatur isnt much to look at on the outside but its very clean and the nurse, who showed me around, was very pleasant.
