A very nice early .50 cal. Lancaster rifle I just got from Track - 38 swamped Rice match barrel, Germanic lock, lovely engraving on the breech, lock, side plate, muzzle, and patch box (which has a very heavy lid - signed P.J. Hogan on the flat. The lock has great timing, positive action, sparks like the 4th of July, and looks to be a good shooter. The early style double set trigger is crisp and light. Slightly used, it has a nice patina on the barrel and needs a little work on some of the brass. I hope to get out and try it this weekend !
