A very productive day today, as we got May seen by her - TopicsExpress

A very productive day today, as we got May seen by her anesthesiologists at the Pain Center and the Oncologist at the Cancer Institute of St Lukes Medical Center. Look, no lines! Thank you Lord!!! Only because the consults for these specialized care are not covered by social service but rather by out of pocket, meaning higher cost to patient but definitely better treatment standards... May got her pain medications adjusted for higher doses and an additional nerve pain med was added to her daily pain management regimen. May also got information on chemotherapy treatment, we all got to witness patients ambulated in and out of oncology for chemo therapy that were either school aged kids and elderlies. We also hope to get more opportunity to hear from alternative methods this week. But really, in the end we leave the healing matters up to God, our Almighty Father and Creator. He Who specializes on making impossible things possible. We do comfort ourselves that no matter what May chooses for her next step for treatment will neither add nor subtract even a mere second to her life unless it is by Gods Will, and His Will alone. I am trusting in The Name of The Lord Jesus Christ Our God, regarding my sisters terminal condition leaning not on my own understanding on how to best fix her but rather submitting her body to Him, Who so lovingly made my sister in the first place, died for her and holds her calendar in heaven tenderly. That all of the conventional or alternative ways of men need to be humbly placed in surrender at His feet so that He can direct and guide all paths that would lead her to reach her purpose in this life. Taken from the Bible on Proverbs 3:5-8 as I apply to our current situation...
