A very quiet morning... rain hanging in the air, the flag doing a gentle slow dance on its mast... and thoughts of our beautiful country. Deep prayers for its ailing economy, political situation, and much, much more. Deep gratefulness for the good in its history. Deep sadness for its less than stellar moments. And abiding thankfulness for all the benefits I have experienced... and prayers that we can all steer our beloved country back on course. Deep sigh! Deep joy! Poignant day!
