A very special doe in our herd, that I thought we would highlight this week. GCH My-Enchanted-Acres LMO Jordyn 6*M. What most people dont understand about her crocked hip is that, as a bred yearling, 3 weeks prior to kidding, we noticed her left hip was quite out of place. X-rays showed a fracture to her back. She was scheduled for a C-section, just knowing that there was no way she could kid on her own. But, on the morning of the day of her scheduled C-section, she presented us with twins. All dried off and ready to be fed. To this day, Jordyn has kidded on her own, with very little assistance. The hip healed, albeit a little crocked, but watching her walk will amaze you. She knows she is a favorite and sometimes has the attitude to prove it. Thats ok. She has proved herself in this herd. She is bred to Lassenwood Pluto Lakota, owned by Judy Bevaart of Blossom-Thyme Nubians and is due the end of April. 2nd Doe/Bucks are available for your consideration
