A very special fish from a cold and wet January morning on the infamous Welly! At the time my capture of Split Tail at 47b 6oz was a lake record back in 2008. It came after a dedicated baiting campaign with a food source bait that they could easily digest in the cold temperatures, that winter i managed quiet a few from the same spot, there was barely another angler on the lake all winter!
