A video of the Belmont Mill in White Pine County, Nevada. This was once a large silver, lead and gold operation. The Mill was built in 1925 by the Tonopah Belmont Development Mining Company to process ore from the Belmont Mine, which was located 1.8 miles away on the side of a mountain. Ore buckets traveled on cables from the mine to the mill. Once at the mill the rock from the ore buckets was dumped and then crushed and then chemically processed to emerge as concentrates at the bottom. The concentrates were then shipped off to Eureka, Nevada for further processing. A really amazing site with a lot of history.
