A volunteer at Duck Team 6 was working on the rescue of two other dogs when they stumbled upon this beautiful little family, a mama and two pups. They were able to get them into a foster home for the night since it was an emergency. If they couldn’t find another foster home or rescue to take them in they would have had to go to Dallas Animal Services. Another volunteer asked if there was any chance we could take them in and since we had a couple of large dog adoptions in the last week we had the space. They arrived a little bit ago. Reese (mama), Finch (black), and Fisco (black & white). The mama dog is very young, about 1-2 years old and she is an absolute sweetheart and extremely friendly. She came right up to her rescuer and loves belly rubs and to be loved on. She was so comfortable in her foster home for a night, as you can see, that we think she was probably dumped. Her puppies are a little shy at first but come around quickly. They are both boys, about 8 weeks old, and very sweet.
