A volunteer cleaning up of the Shambles Avenue Walkway to Castle Vale Park (opposite Co-op) took place yesterday from 10-12pm. The Avenue is part of the Parks Project and relies on volunteers to help maintain it.. Along with the Park Manager and every day volunteer Jennifer, another 7 turned up to help..WHAT A DIFFERENCE A COUPLE OF HOURS CAN MAKE. A huge Thank you to Jennifer, Liam, Gordon, Phil and Marge, Ron and Kay, Peter and a Polish guy (sorry didnt get his name) but someone please post it in. Here are the photos. Imagine if it looks this good now what it will be like when the Bluebells, Snowdrops and other wildflowers still to be planted come through...bit by bit we are getting our gown back..
