A volunteer writes: I just got back from a shift at the Brooklyn care center, where I met Oreo and fell in love! This sweet little tuxie is the kind of kitty you just want to pick right up and take home and give kitty treats and listen to her purr in contentment in your lap. All day, all night. But shes too shy for that to happen right away. She will need some time to adjust to her new surroundings, and probably needs a mature, quiet and understanding human companion. But I just know that she is worth the wait. She is just too sweet to pass up. Oreo is 2 years old and was surrendered with her friend, Feisty, when their former owner had no time for them. How can you NOT have time for such a gorgeous lovebug? Oreo can be reserved tonight on the ACC website, so please make sure someone responsible does just that!
